our

MISSION

To IMPROVE the lives of PETS, OWNERS, and VETERINARIANS through free or low cost veterinary care by way of donations, memberships, and pet insurance.

To make the world a more PEACEFUL place by supporting the HUMAN-ANIMAL BOND and REDUCING VETERINARY SUICIDE.

our

VISION

As an emergency and family veterinarian, I am too often in the position where the only options that I can give an owner without money are euthanasia, take the pet home to suffer and probably die, or, occasionally, sign the pet over to me for adoption.

when

VETS were KIDS

Most of us veterinarians knew we wanted to be a vet when we were very young. At the time, we only knew that we loved animals and wanted to help them.

We have big hearts and extreme empathy for animals and their humans. It hurts so badly to see an animal suffer. We thought if we became vets we could fix them and make the pain go away.

when

KIDS become VETS

Once we became vets we realized it is much more complicated. We cannot help whatever animal we want because of MONEY. We give A LOT, but it's not nearly enough.

What we do individually is not sustainable and, frankly, ineffective.

We need your help.  We need to come together.

when

VETS meet REALITY

We, as vets, are pretty empathic people. So when we cannot help a pet or their human, for whatever reason, it hits us pretty hard. It's one thing to not be able to help because the animal is too sick, but when it's because of the lack of finances, it's a whole different story.

Unlike human doctors, veterinarians frequently find themselves having to euthanize a patient with a treatable injury or illness because their owner can’t afford treatment.
